"The Aloft hotel was located well for everything we wanted to do in NYC. We went between Manhattan and Brooklyn, so felt very centrally located and was easy access to each subway line we needed. We got an upgraded room, which was a nice surprise. Free water, toiletries, and a very spacious room made our stay comfortable.

"Great hotel! Love the 2nd floor garden with delicious coffee, the breakfast was so yummy, they had mini bar and snack items at the lobby counter. Great rooms with closet space and I really appreciated the clothes steamer. Great service. Note this is a dog friendly hotel; there was an issue with a hotel guest leaving their small ‘yappy ‘ dog in the room. The dog barked incessantly for hours. I called the front desk and they handled it the best they could (which was not really something they could handle until the owners returned).
